- Go For Broke National Education Center
Incorporated in 1989, Japanese American World War II veterans established the 100th/442nd/MIS WWII Memorial Foundation, now the Go For Broke National Education Center, to build the Go For Broke Monument. Today, the Center is committed to inspiring youth to realize that circumstance is not destiny, and that destiny is theirs to define. This is done through educational initiatives that share the life stories of the Japanese American soldiers who served in segregated units during World War II, and answered their country's call with unparalleled bravery.
