In January, the Philippine Consulate General of LA hosted an Investment & Tax Briefing, wherein Philippine Tax Whiz Mon Abrea from Asian Consulting Group discussed Business Investment Opportunities, Ease of Doing, and the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program. In addition to the regular monthly meetings for our organization partners, we were also able to support our Association Partners at USC Troy Philippines during their Filipino Heritage Night celebration game which also featured a UAAP NCAA Alumni All-Stars Game.

During February, we were able to support the LA leg of The Fabulous Filipino Brothers film’s national showing with Dante Basco and the rest of his talented family and supported our Partners at the FilAm Chamber of Commerce of SouthBay LA Area during their Board of Directors Installation. We were able to assist the City of Carson, CA in their Redistricting Efforts and support their Black History Month celebration. In addition, we are involved with the planning of the Philippine Independence Day celebration with our Partners at the Philippine Independence Day Foundation, Inc. We also launched our "Penny For Your Thoughts" vlog series and continued our #NikkeiCares / #MabuhayCares campaign by handing off donations from our members to the underserved students of both LB City College and LA Harbor College.

In March, we were able to support our partners from the Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) during their Community @ Unidad in Historic Filipinotown in addition to the efforts by the California State University Dominguez Hills FilAm Digital Archive. We were fortunate to attend and support the Community Open House of Kubo Long Beach, the fundraising concert for the FilAm Service Group Inc. featuring Becca Godinez.  We also attended the Induction Gala of the FilAm Chamber of Commerce of Greater LA. Lastly, we also supported the Press Launch of BayaniPay, the Grand Opening of VistaMed owned by our Advisory Council member Dr. Henrick Macalintal, the 2022 ASEAN Charity Bazaar by the ASEAN Women Circle of LA, and the LA Clippers Filipino Heritage Night game.
